I was in a resturaunt one day, and saw these teenaged girls treating their poor waiter like crap. Then they thought it was hilarious to "tip" him with Canadian Tire money (for those who aren't Canadian, it's store currency that can be used at the hardware store, specifically Canadian Tire.) My eyes started to water because I couldn't believe how lame it was...I wasn't sad or anything. Why do you think this happens?

I think you are a very compassionate person with a kind heart. Because of that, you wanted to see all of what was going on which is common. However, to do this, this meant that you had to not blink because blinking tends to wipe out one's ability to see. Holding one's eyes open allows the corneas to dry out a little bit and this causes the tearing reflex to kick in. Sort of like holding your head out the window when you are riding in the car and trying to hold your eyes open. you'll tear a lot then also. So, what you describe is NOT lame, it is a normal response to a good and kind heart. sounds to me like you should plan to run for president or something! The world needs more of you in it. REALLY

Canadian Tire money lol. Yeah that's mean, but kinda funny too. If the service was actually bad, that's hilarious! But if they were just being jerks well then f*ck them.

I think because you are someone nice who doesn't stand with rudeness. You were not sad but you were mad and water in your eyes was a way of showing it.

its cause you knew what they did was wrong, and you felt bad for the waiter, its called empathy, im the same way but in my case, it comes out as anger rather than tears.

It makes silly, stupid, mean and immature people feel better about themselves.
