very much so.. One of the reasons is because family members usually have certain expectations of you.. If they are older than you its usually easy for them to keep bossing you around.. If they are younger than you, they usually feel like they can just goof around.. Heres the advice I give people that work with family.. If you plan on taking over the family business, go to school, and continue to work with them and stick it out.. If your not interested in taking over the family business someday, you should probably branch out and find a job of your own.. Let them know that its because you feel like you need to have your own experience in life, that it will help you grow and help you figure out what you want to do in life.. It also helps if you line up a friend to take your place at the job.. Tell the family, by the way "my friend joe is interested in working with you".. That will help them let you go a little easier..

OH yes !!
I started college last year, but my cousin and I were interested in the same career.
So we had the same classes, same schedule.
So it was an awful experience in the education field. I even asked her for help tto study, she declined. So I decided to step aside and choose another major. Since she made my time miserable.

The only thing I can tell you, it's that it's not healthy to hold a grudge. Of course is hard to forgive let alone forget.
But it's just better to wrok by yourself I'd uess. Because family members usually take you for granted and abuse the situation.
