High school is a bit harder than middle school or junior high school. The thing to remember is that it's school. Forget the popularity contests and stuff like that. Concentrate on your work and grades first. Have fun, of course, but don't let that or the people around you get in the way of your education. If they call you stupid names like "nerd" or "geek" remember that one day they might be crawling on their hands and knees begging you for a job because you will be in the position of authority to hire them or not. Then it's up to you, what you want to call them.."hired" or "not." At the same time, you will make yourself proud, along with your parents and family members. And end up living a life without all the worries of people that didn't graduate or graduated with low grades, such as "I hope this college accepts me because the other one didn't due to my poor grades." or "I had no idea this job was going to look at my high school grades too. I hope I still get the job anyway." Do the absolute best that you can, get into a great college and you'll be on your way to a good future. Best wishes and take care. P.S. you'll have to watch out for those parties and clubs in college too.

Yes. The work is more advanced but it is really the school setting that can be scary.

Middle school is usually in a much smaller building with a lot of supervision from your teachers. Also, you've had pretty much the same group of friends for a while now. So, you feel familiar with everything,

High school is in a larger building, you have more independence from your teachers, you will probably not be seeing the same friends in your classes, and you have to learn the "lay of the land."

But, don't worry~ you'll get used to it. Everyone does. Just give yourself some time...

Yes, high school is harder than middle. You need to work harder to get to a good college or to get a good job. Colleges and universities look at high school transcripts. Also, you are learning more, getting more specific and specialized information. Further, you are building on your middle school education so, yes high school is harder and tougher.

Good luck.

first off, learn to spell

the last 4 years of school will determine what you want to do when after you graduate. it is harder then middle school because you will have more variety of classes, but you need to pass most, if not all of your classes in order to graduate. also, from what i have seen in highschool is that once honor students were highschool dropouts because they got pregnant or whatever. so, if i were you, don't be slacking off because you cannot afford to and your parents probably won't put up with it neither

good luck in the future
