Does it work well? Would you recommend using it to put pictures on? How much does it usually hold? etc...Thanks!

Hi,
We used it in our daughters room. She likes it, she uses it to put up pictures (unframed of course) and posters. We put two paintbrush size strips of it around the room. One where small papers would go and then another that could be used with the first one to put magnets on the four corners of posters. The paint is thick. We had to put on two coats for it to work well and when the walls are bare of decoration you can very obviously see two raised lines underneath the wall paint. So, we weren't happy that it can be seen, but our daughter loves changing her posters and pictures around and making designs with the different colored geometric magnets we bought her. The reason for the two strips is because the paint is expensive and we couldn't afford to do whole walls.

I haven't done it myself, but I know where you can get the paint from:
American Science Surplus: http://www.sciplus.com/singleItem.cfm?terms=8355&cartLogFrom=Search%20%2D%20Category%20Filter&CFID=15668660&CFTOKEN=26408001
They also offer a wide range of magnets.

In the past they have said that you should use two coats, and that it will only hold up light items.

It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it will hold up a framed picture. Probably posters are the most that you can expect to hold on your wall.

You might want to think about painting stripes on your wall. If you make them 2" wide, and put them at 3 feet high, and then at every two feet you can get more use out of the one pint can.
