a bantamweight unification btwn Lupe Pintor and Jeff Chandler? They were champs in the late 70s/early 80s but never met in the ring form some reason.

Excellent fight, hard to pick. The boxer vs. the puncher. Hmmm? Chandler in a split decision.

This is another good fight. In those days they fought 15 rounds not 20.

Pintor - TF 72-ko's 42 - beat better fighters than Chandler but was knocked out by several unknowns.

Chandler - TF 37- Ko's 18 - Koed only once. He used to wriggle his right hand before and after delivering it.

Pintor had more experience but Chandler was a better boxer. I see Chandler by split decision.

P.S. Always remember that old boxing axiom - that styles make a fight.

Good fight with Chandler being a better boxer and Pintor having more power. I believe that Pintor would catch up with chandler and land several left hooks knocking Chandler out in 20 rounds.
