Hey Lucky*Star!!!
Listen! I am going through the same thing with my ex. I think about her and her 8 year old son everyday. I met her when her son was 3. We've been together for 5 1/2 years and are both grown adults. I have done everything right for this women and her son and have been there through the thick and thin with them and even went twice to Disneyland with them. I poured my heart and soul into both of them to make them more at ease to have fun and to take any burden off just to relieve them from stress. AND after being together for 5 1/2 years I myself had gotten the axe last Thankgiving time, which is now 9 months ago. And I was hurt so severly my heart was aching and I did lots and lots of crying. She just made up a bunch of lies and accusations just to get out and that even hurt me more. BUT despite all the heart aches I myself still love her very much and still wish we were together. She and her son meant the who world to me and still do.
But my suggestion to you is to (and I know it will be hard) to stop talking to him until things are calmed down. Let him make the next move. If he is interested then he will come back. In the mean time hangout with your girlfriends and have a good time with them. Give them all big hugs when you see them.By doing this you will feel better to. That's what I did. It just feels good to hug your family and your friends to get rid of some of those hard feelings. SO I wish you luck in your healings.
Take care with lots of love.

Probably during the four years, both you and your partner have cherished memories both good and bad that will never be forgotten, Having a relationship go on that long can be heart breaking. i know I've been there, your probably thinking, was this the right thing to do. ( no need to know info). My advice to you is talk to your ex about the issue (if you have not already). If i can Offer a web site: plenty offish.com 100% free. the point is there is someone out there who deserves you...

Find a new boyfriend that will not enjoy hurting you. You deserve better. Change your phone number. Keep busy and start dating. The definition of insanity is repeating a behavior and expecting different results. This could go on forever and you must get sick of your behavior and stop it. Get on with your life.

Because you had some wonderful times together and that's what you're thinking about. As hard as it may be, you have to try to separate yourself or you'll just continue to hurt yourself. You and he are no longer together for a reason. Most importantly, there is nothing wrong with you. Everyone has a hard time breaking up, it stinks! Just protect yourself honey. He will keep you around as long as it's convenient for him.

obession, this is what this is, unfortunatly its unhealthy. because you dated for 4 years you became acustomed to his presence and stuff like that, and thats why you cant stop talking to him. i would start to introduce other guys into your life, go to some clubs/bars and meet some new people and slowly stop talking to your ex.

Sounds like he's playing games with you. Stop talking to him, move on, if he hurts you over and over, he's not worth it, trust me!!

Stop any contact with him otherwise you will never get over. Hanging up with him is like torturing your self over and over. I know that's going to be hard but you have to do it so, you can get over. Remember time will cure it but you MOST STOP seining him, no calls, no contact with him what so ever. AVOID HIM COMPLETELY!

Sweetie, I know this is difficult to hear but you have to bottom line it and move on. Why would you want to continue talking to him when all it does it make you feel miserable afterward?
You deserve better...
