I had my back molar removed on Tuesday afternoon so I am on the 4th day. My clot was looking good, with a white film on top and now, it looks like much of the white is gone. Does this mean I am going to lose my clot? It isn't a huge gaping hole, it just looks a little lower than it did with the white on top of the clot. HELP!

No other symptoms really. My mouth feels wierd though because my tounge can't rest against that area anymore. My mouth is awkward, that is how i would describe it. My concern is how deep is the hole if the whole clot is gone

Been a dental assistant for over 20 years, do you have any other symptoms such as pain? Bad breath? If you have any other problems you should see your dentist.

If you lost the clot more than likely you will get a dry socket that hurts like hell. So if you start hurting you know you lost the clot and got a dry socket.

It is healing. If you lost the clot, it would bleed alot.
