I'm trying to follow the feng shui trend of making my bed face east. I know east is to the right, but I don't know how to figure that out in my room. Which way would be East. I'm confused cause the east depends on which side of my room i'm at.

East is the direction the sun rises in. Either get up to see where it rises or wait top see where it sets and where that is, the opposite direction is east. OR you could just quit being so damn cheap and my a compass.

If your room doesn't have windows, wait until morning, step inside a room (or outside) to see where the sun is. That direction is east. Hold out your arm pointing to that direction at all times while walking back to the room that doesn't have a window for you to see the sun. Now you know which way is east.
Make a note of it for future use for all your rooms.

The sun rises in the east. Which side of your house does the sun rise on? Stand in your room and stand facing that side of the house. You are now facing east, and this is the way your bed should face.

Wherever the sun is moving from. You don't need a compass and don't have to wait until morning.
The East does not depend on which side of your room you're at.

Yep, a compass would be the best idea but the sun does rise in the east and set in the west, so watch that.

Look out the window or stand outside. Where does the sun come up. Place yourself facing the sun. That is east.

east is only to the right if you are facing north. so get a compass or wake up and watch the sun rise, surprise that's east!! If you didn't know that, I think you need to study something besides feng shui. sorry.

East is where sunrise is. West is where sunset is. Figure out which way the sun is from your window when you go to bed, that's west, the opposite is east. Or find the big dipper. The big dipper is just a bit west of center, the edge of it is almost perfectly north. The little dipper IS north, its brightest star is the north star.
