1 liquid ounce would be 1/8th of a cup (a cup is 8 fluid ounces = a half pint).
1 solid ounce would be 2 tablespoons as there are 16 tablespoons of solids in an 8 ounce measuring cup.

I assume that you're referring to fluid ounces (oz.). (As a measure of weight, an ounce is something quite different.)
1 cup = 8 fluid oz.; therefore, 1 fluid oz. = 1/8 cup.
