He would need a gps, to line him with mecca, and a platform, to angle him at it. But as gps is off a little, and in space, that little grows as you go farther, he would have trouble even facing earth.

Well I would guess that a Muslim would want to pray in the direction of the Earth since Mecca is on the Earth. Although chances are that if such an activity occured....the people were colonizing Mars, then probably there would be some sort of conference held by the religious leaders of the various religions to discuss matters of religious importance (so the Muslim leaders would gather to discuss this topic amongst others). That seems the more likely thing that would happen.

Mecca is a farce. It was established due to a Meteorite that fell to the earth and the Camel Jockey's all thought it was a rock thrown down from the heavens by God. I don't blame them for thinking that then, no one knew any better.
But, to still think that way today is shameful and irresponsible.
People who have the will to become educated and can look at these things objectively can see this, but nooooo........ the Camel Jockeys are stuck in the past and it's at the detriment of the rest of the world.

hahaha This is odd, but I suppose wherever they are in the universe they will face: Planet Earth Mecca As the earth and Mars rotates it means that they will face a different direction during every prayer. I think this will cover the question dear!

Muslims always pray facing Mecca, they don't care if it is east or west, north or south from their current position. So they would want to face the earth.

He would face whatever direction the Earth was. I believe Muslims who live east of Mecca face west, but I could be wrong.
"Why would they go to Mars? There is no one there for them to kill and if they don't kill someone they can't get their 70 virgins."
Wrong! The reward of virgins, etc., in Heaven is for martyrs, and suicide bombers are not martyrs. You cannot martyr yourself. Suicide is a mortal sin in Islam, as well as killing someone when not in self-defense.

Toward Earth, I'd suspect . . . after all, Mecca would be somewhere on the planet, no matter what direction the Muslim faced!

He would still have to face in the direction of Mecca...which would be changing constanly because of the rotation and spining of both planets.

I guess that would change during the time of year. Since facing mecca would mean facing earth.
