Socrates never wrote anything down...most of his work was recorded by his pupils such as Plato> I'm guessing you believe Socrates existed, am i correct>
Napoleon bonaparte quote about Jesus Christ:

“His religion is a revelation from an intelligence which is certainly not that of a man.”
H.G. Wells quote:
“I am a historian, I am not a believer, but I must confess as a historian that this penniless preacher from Nazareth is irrevocably the very center of history. Jesus Christ is easily the most dominant figure in all history.”

King Arthur didn't write anything either. He is a prominant figure in many stories, to which many historians believe he truly did exist, just that his name was not Arthur.
The only historical reference from the days Jesus was alive is what is written in the Bible. Yet Plato can be proven to have existed because others, during his lifetime, wrote about him. Same with Socrates... it wasn't only his pupils who wrote about him, but those who hated him as well. Actually, there's records of his trial where others spoke at, people who vehemently hated Socrates... probably why they gave him Hemlock to drink.

Well if tomleah 06 is waiting for written word from Jesus then he may have 2 wait forever. People have this belief that we are doing Jesus & God a favor by deigning 2 believe in them & they want God 2 bring down the heavens & give them all this "proof". People dont understand that it is God who is doing us the favor & we should be providing the proof to him as 2 how much we love him. Sure God loves us & would like everyone 2 acknowledge him. But no matter what is written there will always be people who will discredit it. I mean the man actually came down & lived on this earth & people didnt believe. So even if Jesus wrote his own scriptures they would still be discredited.

You are talking about the "Son of God" - not a philosopher! I'm not interested in hearsay - I want wisdom directly from the source!
