Well, there are worse things you could crave. It may well be that your body is lacking some nutrient found in tomatoes, like Vitamin C. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Enjoy your tomatoes, just keep it within reason & try to balance your diet with other foods.
The link below has some interesting info on the subject.

okay ... this could be tomatophagia. this is a relatively new theory, but apparently it has something to do with a need for iron. it's not yet included on the list of pica substances, but this Dr. Mark A. Marinella guy is working to clarify the details.

It seems to me your body is lacking something and maybe not neccessarily a vitamin but maybe a deficiency of something else.I suggest maybe you call or visit your doctor to see what he thinks.May be a health issue and if so its best to find out now and not later in life.

They've done studies that have shown that cravings really aren't usually associated with nutritional deficiency, but maybe you need vitamin C. :)

You may be deficient on a vitamin, your body has a tendency to crave foods it needs.

Maybe your body is in need of licopene (not certain of spelling)....as long as you don't have problems with heartburn, this may not be a bad thing.
One other thought....could you be pregnant?
