There are no best religions, generally speaking. Religion is a "personal or institutionalized system grounded in such belief and worship" (TheFreeDictionary.com). One can argue that it also includes a "set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader" (TheFreeDictionary.com), though I would disagree. Morality (values & practices) are in the realm of philosophy and can be adhered to without the presence of ceremony, blind faith, and worship. For example, some Buddhists would argue that true Buddhism is not a religion but a philosophy. The ceremony was added later for the general public to meet their spiritual and ceremonial needs.

If you can agree that morality exists outside of religion and that religion (at best) acts as a guide for the not-so-philosophical among us, then any religion that is taught in a way that endorses a set of moral values that benefits all of society (locally for isolated communities, globally for international communities) while also promoting acceptance instead of violence would be the best religion. Given those criteria, on the international level then, Buddhism, Hinduism, or some of the other Eastern religions might be the best religion.

---The best religion can be measured only one way... by which one is most true and has the least error. But, any religion that just believes the truth and doesn't practice it is a bad one. I do not believe that believing in whatatever people want to in order to make them feel good is smart. Denial of the truth never leads to happiness in the long run. In fact, it leads to suffering. If one religion says Jesus is the Son of God, and another says He is not, you can eliminate the one that is wrong. Gladly, knowing the truth promotes love. The more truth is put into practice, the more love, and the better the religion.
---Since I believe that the Bible is God's word and that God only tells the truth, I believe that whatever religion follows the Bible most accurately is best. I am in a church association called the Vineyard. I also like Assemblies of God. I am not sure which one is closer to the Bible. Also, some individual churches that aren't in a particular denomination follow the Bible closely in teaching and practice.

The best religion has to be based on each individual, family, location, culture, nation, etc. There's no one answer. If there were, then it would make sense that humans would have figured it out. Instead, each religion has certain ways of addressing the dilemmas of life and helping people gain peace of mind, purpose, guidance, and connection to others. It may be difficult and a bit overwhelming, but in the end, you get to choose what is the best religion for yourself and your unique situation. Good luck.

No religion is best they cannot satisfy any one being religious isn't gonna do anything for you! But if your talking about a relationship with God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ there is the life Changing power in the people who are living hard for God not just Sunday routine.

The day of Pentecost was observed in Jerusalem fifty days after the celebration of the Passover, which commemorated Israel's deliverance out of Egypt. It is significant that this day was chosen by the Lord to begin the fulfillment of Joel 2:28: "I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh...."
The Spirit came upon the waiting, praying disciples in an overwhelming manner. Their complete commitment to Christ and His commission evoked a mighty baptism of God's power. This was evidenced initially by their speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4). The Spirit was resident in their lives from that moment. The Spirit-filled early church witnessed many outstanding miraculous happenings (Acts 3:1-7; 4:31). They were able to lead victorious lives as a result of their Pentecostal experience.

Two baptisms were disclosed on the day of Pentecost. There was a baptism in the Holy Spirit, and in the Apostle Peter's message that followed, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ was commanded (Acts 2:38). This outward, physical baptism mysteriously merges with that of the Spirit, and is the "one baptism" of Ephesians 4:5. This is what Jesus referred to as being "born again" in John 3:3-7. And how wonderful to be born into the family of God-changed, transformed, and made a "new creature in Christ Jesus".

No, Pentecost is not a denomination. It is a new birth experience. It is primitive Christianity made relevant to today's world. The people referred to as Pentecostal simply believe, teach, and receive all that transpired on that birthday of the church...Pentecost, 33 A.D. There is a church near you that embraces these basic Christian truths and experiences. You owe it to yourself to attend-and see what Pentecost can really mean to you!

Of course all the religious people are going to say that their religion is the best. You should expect that answer, so there is no point in asking it!

I don't believe that any religion is the best. Not everyone is going to fit into one religion. That is why there are so many religions to begin with. I fit into the Kemetic Orthodoxy religion and so that is best for me. You may not fit into that religion and so who am I to say what is best for you.

islam

because,

>Islam makes sense e.g. concept of oneness God (He Who created the eye of the mosquito is the One Who created the sun) , Messengers of God on the face of earth with the message of oneness of God and accountability in the hereafter, concept of Salvation through faith and deeds, concept of Prayers and Charity, fasting, etc.

>Islam is the only religion which teaches the existence of a one and only PERFECT God. A perfect God means that there is no sharer in His Nature and His Attributes:

> Because there is only one human race, there has to be one perfect way assigned by God for the human beings as a way of life. That is Islam which means submission to the will of God. "The Religion in the sight of God is Islam." (Quran 3:19)

>Islam has Practical Solutions for the Problems of Mankind. e.g. to reduce murder, rape, poverty. etc
Islam is a perfect religion which has nothing left to add or subtract. There is not a single teaching of Islam which is against humanity as a whole. All the good teachings which other religion speaks about is already present in Quran and sayings of Prophet Muhammad pbuh.

"This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion (way of life)". [ Quran 5:3]

> Islam provides salvation and path to paradise forever.

There is no compulsion in the religion; Truth stands out clear from error; so whoso disbelieves in idols and believes in God, has laid hold of the most firm handle, which cannot break; and God is Hearing, Knowing.
Al-Quran (2:256)
