Just wondering. I think the husky is a good choice.

Golden Retrievers. Intelligent, outgoing, good-tempered, and don't mind if your child climbs on them. Just have to be willing to deal with the hair, or the "tumbling tumbleweeds", as we call them.

My favorite is my Boxer. Before you decide on a particular breed, please be sure to research - a LOT! Think about what qualities you like. Huskies are big, need a lot of grooming, and are active. You should look at what they were originally bred to do, pull a sled all day. That means they need exercise. Do you have the room for one? Are you ready to be resposible for another life for 10 or more years? Are you ready to brush it every week or pay someone to do it? Can you afford the vet care of a dog? And if you can say yes to these questions, then go to a QUALIFIED breeder, not a pet store, not someone who just decided to breed 2 huskies together and have some puppies. If your going to have this dog for such a long time, then you want a good one, one that's from parents that have been fully health tested and have good temperments.Check out Siberian Husky rescue groups in your area if you want to adopt one and save a life. And please be sure you really want a dog, shelters are full or PUREBRED dogs that people just cast away because they didn't research the breed, they just knew they wanted it and they got one.

I love Labs. I have an 8 year old Black lab. My father had a husky and she was very mean. The dog loved them very much but she was so protective about them. She was also mean to other dogs. That isn't all huskys though. It all depends on the dog not the breed.

I like beagles because of their sweet nature. They are lovable dogs and have lots of playful energy. The down side is that they are hard to house train, and that they always need to be on a leash since they are bird dogs and will chase after every scent they catch on to. Huskys are beautiful dogs but I don't know to much about them.

Have you cleaned up after a husky yet? I'd rethink your choice. Pugs are good. Quiet dogs, not aggressive, very loving, a bit stubborn though and they do shed a lot of a small dog. Best of all - small stools!

Good luck with your new dog!

The ones that you rescue from the shelter are best, because you are saving two lives. First you save the life of the dog you adopt, then you make room for another dog in the shelter to have his/her life saved. They are usually mixed breeds which tend to be healthier, and more even tempered.
Huskies are gorgeous but they ar enot good house pets as they always try to escape, and they ar enot always good around kids.

I like the husky but my favorite dog is the Irish Setter. They are great family dogs with good personality and disposition. You do need a yard for them to run around.

I like all types of dogs. However, I think Pugs, Bulldog, Boston Terrior, French Bulldog, Boxer, German Shepard, and Husky are my favourite.

have two Yorkie's one is 3lbs 8ounces the other 5lbs, they are the cutest. Huskies are beautiful, though they need to be watched cuz they like to run, need lots of exercise. My dogs get all their exercise in the house and they eat about 6ounces a day.Plus they are precious.

A lab is a good choice. My favorite is a Papillon, but they are definetly a house dog. Do our avatars look the same?
