Good question. Nowhere in the Bible is she called the Queen of Peace. She is not called the Queen of anything in the Bible. In fact, the Bible says she was no better than John the Baptist. Jesus said in Matthew 11:11, "I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist." Obviously, that included Mary. Sadly, the catholic church worships Mary. I feel sorry for the many people who believes she is that great. The only one we should pray to is God.

The miracles people talk about with statues of mary are very easy for the devil to perform. They keep people deceived this way.

Because She is the Mater Dolorosa, the sorrowful mother. You will often see images and statues of Mary crying, sometimes with Jesus in Her arms (as in the Pieta), but also alone. This indicates that She is not only grieving for Her Son, but for the whole world. It has been suggested that the "cult of tears" of Mary is a replacement of the "cult" of Her breast milk. Similarly, many of the miracles revolving around Her statues involve crying blood. According to Marie-France Boyer, these tears "incarnate both human misery and redemption".

Another symbol of Mary is a heart that has been cut or pierced with a sword. The idea is that our suffering and sin brings Her pain, and She weeps for us. She is the bringer of comfort, and as the mother of God (Jesus), She is the mother of us all.

This is a heterodox view of Mary from a polytheist, but much of what I've typed here is the traditional view of Mary by the Catholic Church.

It's one of her many titles. Queen of Peace refers to her messages in her many apparitions.
