It is utterly disgusting and I am sure that we will all be joining the protests.

It6 is going through Scotland? Why would we do that, when we could fly it right in? Hmmmm, the over reaction to Israel being attacked by suicide bombers? Innocent people being killed, and then a kidnapping of one of their soldiers? Also, you must add the invasion of Israel, 8 soldiers killed, and then 2 more kidnapped, that started the all out retaliation....and then Hamas coming back and attacking again....I think it is unacceptable that we don't go and encourage Israel to go full force, and run both groups right out of existence...publicly. Hopefully we are giving them that support in private

Give them ALL they want. That is how things are accomplished (over reaction). If they acted with the same level of violence that the Hesbo's did, nothing would be accomplished and all the random terroristic acts would continue. Israel has put up with this long enough! You go in, you go roman on the Hesbo's and end it once and for all!!!! Peace is not the absence of fighting. All that does is give the terrorist time to recoup. Peace is what happens when the good guys win!!!!!

You are so not up to date on the whole thing. There were 2 soldiers kidnapped and another 6 killed when Hezbollah crossed the border. They have tons of weapons aimed at Israel and Israel is our friend. So, I hope we gave them weapons for free.

Planes are most likely to crash on take off / landing.

I heard somewhere that that they use Scotland to re-fuel for this reason.

If there were to be an accident in Scotland the damage caused would be minimal and could possibly improve some areas!

In the first two instances, the British government were not informed until one aircraft had already taken off and the other had landed. two later shipments were allowed through by the government.
It does shows a lack of respect not to ask for permission, but then the master doesn't ask the poodles permission to do something.

The uk is a millitary base and stepping stone to Europe, for the usa. The government decides treaties with the Usa. You decided this, by voting, or not voting, being up a tree protesting instead.
Check the policies of your local mp, they get seats government gets a majority. THAT simple.

I think it is totally unacceptable that US is tranferrring bombs to Israel. That they are using Prestwick airport in my country as a staging post is reprehensible

Overeaction?
Check your history again. They were attacked As we were in 1916 by Pancho Villa. We sent a whole Army into Mexico after him for a year.

What a surprise they used a Scottish airport-they wouldn't allow hazardous cargo to come in through Heathrow.
