I love my Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. I also use a coffee grinder to grind my coffee fresh each time. For even better coffee, you could roast your own, but I don't have that kind of time on my hands! I don't notice much difference between the cheap and expensive brands of coffee makers, the coffee itself seems to be where the taste difference is. The price point would be on what features you want.

Get a Mr. Coffee. The more expensive ones look more professional but that's it-the coffee tastes the same, you spend more moola and cheaper makers last just as long. Mr. Coffee is reliable and cheap, save your money on the maker and maybe buy more expensive coffee grounds, that'll make a lot more difference than the kind of coffee maker.

Save the money, get a Mr. Coffee brewer and go out w/friends to get your Starbucks now and again. Otherwise, get one with all the bells and whistles, and have it last just as long as the cheaper ones and give you the same quality.

I think you should get what you want. If you drink a lot of coffee
and you like starbucks then go for it. I always wanted a Bunn
Coffee maker, well I finally got it and it was no better than any
other. I now have a good old Mr. Coffee!!

It depends on how much coffee you plan on drinking. I have a cup of coffee in the morning and have a Sunbeam. However, if I were a coffee connoisseur, I would probably get one of those fancy ones with the bells and whistles.
