I don't know the law in PA, but I can sure tell you that in other states there are numerous *registered sex-offenders* who started out thinking everything was fine as long as her parents thought it was OK.

Now that they're out of prison, their names and faces are on the web, and they must register every time they move. Forever.

He'd better check the legal age of consent! Because if it's over 16, her parents have nothing to do with it, the District Attorney does!

(I've looked a little online, and it seems to be 16 in PA. But if it were MY freedom on the line, I'd consult an attorney.)

yes he can get into trouble for dating a 16 year old because hes and adult and hes 23 years of age.and I'm sure that her parents aren't ok with her dating a 23 year old man.cause if they were then they could get into just as much trouble. for letting there 16 year old daughter date a 23 year old man.they can get charged with unfit parenting.

It's just plain wrong. He is an adult and she is still considered a minor. He needs to find someone his own age. Maybe, like another adult and not a child.

He can't get in trouble if both parents are ok with it but if I were him or her I'd be careful b/c if she says he raped me he will go to jail.

Only if she says that she's been raped by him. However, if she has consented to have sex with him, then there's no problem at all.
