Most of the homeopathic allergy remedys are so dilute they contain almost none of the so-called active ingredients. If you want something safe, cheap, and often effective, just get an over the counter saline nose spray. About half of those studied had allergy relief. The saline washes the allergens off of the mucous linings of the upper respiratory tract.

homeopathic rememdies do generally have a 'proving' effect and can make you worse in the first instance, particulalry if you get the right remedy. However if you just keep taking them you can seriously worsen your symptoms. I'd consult with a registered homeopath and make sure that you are taking the correct remedy for your needs and they will tell you how many to take and what potency you need. you will find that when you get the right remedy you will want to keep them handy as the odd dose now and then or short course regularly may be needed.

In my opinion homoeopathic medicines initially increase the intensity of the disease you are having. So don't panic, its just a couple of day's you have taken the medicines. I think homoeopathic medicines are very effective for allergies. The simple basic thing is these medicines attack the root cause of the problems. hence there is a very little Chance of the disease occurring again. If you don't get any results with the homoeopathic medicines try with Dr. Batra's Clinic in India. They also offer on line consultancy. The medicines are very effective as per my experience.

Homeopathic medicines are v. diluted so they usually take a day or two to have an effect. It could be that your immune system is just in high gear. Homeopathic meds are more effective if you start taking them *before* allergy season is at its height. In any case, talk to the person you got them from, ask them what they think. If you started taking them after you already were having severe reactions, it may take longer for them to help.

I have tried many homoeopathic cures for hay fever and none worked. Anti-histamines are still the best solution for me. There are many kinds, you just have to find the one that suits you and works.
I ask for Non Drowsy, and try a half first, and if it doesn't work after two hours, I take the other half. Never take more than one in 24 hours.
Ask at your chemist which one they recommend.
Good Luck,
