My son is 3, so my knowledge of girls and older kids is low. We also don't know her too well, she is a neighbor that he has just recently started to play with. I hate to just ask her what she wants and ruin it, but her party is tomorrow and I don't know what to do!

You can never go wrong with a cute stationary set with pens, markers and stickers. You can buy it as a set. Otherwise, get her a dvd or some makeup.

i was in the same situation (neighbor was turning 9 and didn't know what to get her) so what i did was get here a stuffed animal at build-a-bear. She loved it, but it depends on the kid. Something else you could do is go to toysrus and ask an employee for some good 10 year old girl stuff, hello kitty store, or if you know her size, clothes always work. Just find out what kind of clothes shes into. but my little girl neighbor was even over joyed when she saw me walk into the backyard for her party so i bet when you walk right into the party, she will be so happy you took the time to come

I know your daughter's birthday is coming tomorrow. For next year try this.... read below.....
My daughter turned to 11 years last year. For 3 years in row, she keep asking for the same birthday gift....
You may wonder what is it!
A night at the hotel with swimming pool, invite 4 or 5 girls to have a slumber party at the hotel room.
4pm - Arrival time
5pm - Pizza time
6pm - Cake and open gifts
7 or 8p - Swim (usually most hotel pool closes at 10p)
10p - Change into pj's after shower.... girls love that becuz they help each others braiding or fixing hairs.
11p - Movie and popcorn on the floor
That puts them to sleep right away!
My daughter want the same party gift next yr!

give a gift card.... a general card , nothing to any store, visa makes them but sometimes there are fees, gift certificates work too. American express has them, visa also but not as publicized, also ask her mother what shes been asking for keep it under 25 good luck

My daughter is 10 and to her, a $20 gift certificate to Bath & Body works or Aeropostale hit the spot! ( She started doing the "talk to the hand " motion singing "oh yeah, It's Mine.., Not yours,.. it's mine!") I think that meant it was cool!

A trip to somewhere fun. If youd ont know what she likes then don't risk buying her any toys. Take her on a short vacation to some hotel or something. a Suite would be awsome.

Go to bath and body works and get her some American girl lotions, or colone spray, make a little gift set.
