I can't really see any advantages for the planet as a whole. Individual countries may see benefits, for example arrid areas may experience more rainfall, crop yields may be improved by warmer temperatures in a cooler climates. BUT, wherever an area sees a benefit, there will be many more that are detrimentally affected. Already arrid areas will become uninhabitable, sea levels will rise causing billions to become homeless.

And the overall affects on wildlife could be devastating. As the natural habitats change, the native species will begin to decline. And as the ecological balance is shifted, who knows what the result may be.

Changes in climate within the range in which species can survive will benefit those species that are best adapted for the conditions to which the climate is changing. The northern expansion during the last century of some species formerly only found further south is well documented in North America. The species previously found in the areas where the climate is changing that are not well adapted to the changed conditions will of course be harmed (or be forced into other areas that are becoming more favorable).
