Match.com was a joke and the only date I got off there turned out to be a disaster. When I told the guy that I would have a cup of coffee with him.............His idea of having coffee and mine were two different things..........LOL
E-harmony is suppose to be a good site, and I know someone who used it and got quite afew dates off of it. None of them lead to anything permanent. It was alot more expensive also.
In my opinion, I would not pay that kind of money for afew dates.

I have experience with match.com - just like any dating sites you will find real people and faked ones. I so far had only good experiences with match.com.
In my opinion you cannot call those sites rip offs.
"Find love as promised" what a funny quote. those sites are there to meet people. you may meet friends, assholes or even your true love. But thats up to you and not them (the dating sites)

I signed up at eharmony.com. I met a lot of men. Unfortunately, nothing really worked out, but that wasn't the fault of eharmony.
They certainly aren't a rip-off.
They send you your matches once a day, a few at a time, and you decide who you want to communicate with.

Eharmony.com, in my opinion, is a HUGE rip-off. Match.com, a few years ago, it was great. Now that they reorganized everything, it isn't as good as it was before.

"Match.com" was very good a couple of years back, but since they "re-organized" the site I really wouldn't recommend it!!
Don't know anything about "Eharmony.com" .......just don't like the name.

I have a friend who met a really nice guy on Match.com. I've been thinking of trying E-harmony.com, but I don't know anyone who has.

I tried both and prefer e-harmony. Although I didn't find anyone on there the layout is much nicer and I feel there is a much higher chance of meeting someone that wants to be serious and not just hook up for a one night stand.

yes, I tried match.com and when you say "love" that could mean a couple different things so yes and no. I do better on plentyofphish and myspace and they are both free.

I tried both and same with every other online dating site, I ended up with all the sickos. I only stuck around a month before I got tired of the bullshit emails to me and deleted my profile.

match.com was the one that got in trouble for having hired people to 'fake' responses to ads to keep people subscribing.
