I know of (mostly) Young adults crossing the borders to escape the gang mentality, abuse in the home (one young man escaped because his father was in the gang MS13),there is no amnesty for younger groups the only thing they can hope for is amnesty. That said IF they family here they can be placed with them, and then the family has to seek assistance for them are you aginst this also?

As much of the hate your going to feel for me-- which I'm definately not trying to enforce....
No.. And I say this because there are many things in which can happen.
Let's delve into them.....Shall we???
O....kay:
1) If the children get amnesty-- that is unfair to other "illegals" who have been waiting in line-- once again, we've discussed this already.
2) If they become citizens, that gives them the right to become sponsors for all 50 of their cyblings + their 30 aunts, 40 mothers, 32 dads, and 91 uncles.. lets omit the grandparents...
3) Even if the children are 10-12 years of age, they can sponsor for their 'whomever,' and this same problem will exist however many.. 3, 5, maybe 6 to 8 years in the future.
4) If the children are granted amnesty.. they must seperate from their families either permanantly or temporarily... for a number of years till their parents are deemed "legals." That could take anywhere from 10 to 20 years-- And I say this, because I do know that the process to citizenship is a real nightmare!
5) The children would have to go somewhere... And many many families are not going to adopt anytime soon. There maybe .. should be an incentive-- as for the govt. to pay the family, but then again, we have:
a) Enough fostered children in America right now.. just dreaming; waiting all their lives to have a family-- ie: 2 parents to love them... to be like 'normal' children.
b) If hispanic children are to be adopted first.. or be put in line before children that have been here all their lives-- that will not only screw up social services and fostering homes.. It'll depress the children in America already without a home.
Not a good idea.
6) That makes pushing thru illegal children first.. before all others--- which leads us back to "1." And even if we did...
a) The parents of these illegal children that are now being stuck at the end of the line to process through must wait even longer-- because their children are being processed through..
7) No offense, it is an idea, but it's kind of a selfish one. Would you leave your children in America.. to be sent to fostered homes? Knowing that anyone could adopt them? Not only is this a bad idea for the parents, but:
a) For the child.. He/ She is already going to be depressed..
and
b) The caretaker for these children are not going to be too pleased either.. Unless about 10 million or so NEW social caretakers apply to house these children.
8) Your idea is putting strain on these caretakers.. God knows what kind of record these kids have got! And don't you dare tell me that they've all got their heads on a swivel!
9) This creates more taxes.. And maybe not as much as there is now.. but it lil more. People will be already mad...
10) Which leads us to the last statement of "8." People will be upset. I understand you may not be.. But according to the Gallup Poll, 80% of America wants ALL illegals OUT!!!
11) Besides, if the govt. gives children amnesty, don't you feel as if this will be a negative thing for the children?
I mean... what this will bring is a reward for children for doing wrong. I know you may not necessarily see it this way, but children will see it as them being awarded for something they knew they weren't suppost to be doing. Giving these children amnesty .....is not going to cut it!!
You need to think about this completely. The children already here will hear about it in schools when "those" illegals preach about it.. Then the children that were already here will tell their parents.. and their parents won't be able to explain it!! Why??!! Because we all know it doesn't make any damn sense!!
Just get the thought out of your mind. It would be disasterous.. Perhaps not so much to adults, but the children would never understand! And they too.. will want to break the rules!
The last thing we need our children doing are following bad examples...

If they come here expecting rights and acting like arrogant jackasses then yes. If they come here and join or restart a gang that they are supposedly trying to escape, then yes. I am also against immigrants coming here that can't be self sufficient. If their family who is here can't take care of them why should we be expected to do it? We can't take care of everybody. This is just another 'what about the children' cry to divert attention away from the real issues. It can be used to further almost any agenda if you put it in just the right words. These are young adults and need to be responsible for themselves and their actions. Many people are abused and put in dangerous situations in the US and they don't run away to Mexico! What do you think would happen to them if they did? They sure wouldn't be given a home, amnesty, and a nice check to live on now would they?!

Every country has it's share of gangs and teens who are stuck in bad families. A majority of the gangs here are Hispanic or black so if you think about it they really are not escaping much at all. There is no excuse for Illegals. There are ways to gain legal rights into the US while still in another country. People just want the easy way out.

I don't want harsh treatment per se for anyone; but this question is about lawlessness within a morality of humanity. It will be the saddest catch 22, but the law is the law; the jury is still out, but I can understand it because our own government has created this situtation.

Yes. It doesn't matter how old someone is nor their reasons for coming here illegally. Anyone who is willing to break the law starts out on the long slippery slope to a life of crime. Two wrongs do not make a right.

I have never heard of any illegal immigrants fleeing their country due to gang violence. Most come because they want to make a better life for themselves and can do so much easier by coming to the US working hard, and going home.

amnesty's a dirty word in my book, the problem in this puzzle is Mexico, and their lack of a good national focus on their own domestic problems. America can pick up their slack for a while yet, but not forever....

the worst is people here ILLEGALLY who are demanding that they be able to stay. GO BACk!

You say "young adults". An adult makes adult choices for themselves. Good or bad, right or wrong, the adult must be responsible for their own choices and actions throughout their lifetime. I am not responsible for anyone who makes a poor personal choice.
You made your choices, they made their own, I make my own choices. We each need to be responsible for our own choices and actions.
This is known as free will, now take some responsibilty for the ones you want others to pity, if you are so concerned about their plight.

O.K. I read all of your question and yes, I do want harsh treatment for the younger group, the older group, and every group in between.
And yes, "IF they family here" I do not want my hard earned tax dollars going to feed house and clothe criminals.
