"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy ghost, and these three are one" (1 John 5:7).

All the words after the word "record" are spurous. They were put into the texts by a copyist about 500 years ago.

Just like my father, myself and my dog are one family. We are so close we can answer for each other. My dog will fetch the paper if I ask him. But some things I have to do for myself. Sometimes my Dad will look at me and know what I'm thinking just because of the expression on my face. But since he and I don't occupy the same body, he doesn't always know what I'm thinking. If I take a shower, it doesn't make my dog or my Dad any cleaner.
No matter what you say, this is how I think of it because there is no reason for Jesus to have prayed to himself. I realize he prayed on occasion to show an example of how to pray, but the Bible also says he would go away and conceal himself to pray. I do believe that Jesus and God are so close that it could be like looking at the same person. But many people say I look like my mother or act like my mother, but that does not make me my mother.
That and the word trinity does not appear in the Bible. :)

Would you please get yourself a current day version of the Bible? No offense but you are obviously having difficulty with this one. This is so convoluted I don't even recognize the verse. Please site chapter and verse and we can look up in the NIV or another reputable version to see the real meaning.

Where did this come from? I just put it into the biblegateway search and it's not from the King James. Is this from the Bible at all?

The Trinity cannot be explained. It's strange thet Jesus says that he and the father are one then later he says that only the father knows the last days. He also says only the father desides who goes to heaven...then again, Jesus prays to the father. If Jesus and the father are one, then Jesus would be praying to himself...yes?

I wish I could understand these religious non-sensical statements! I don't understand the question.

Also, I just want to let people here know that there is a spell checker. Please use it!
