You do not need to take anything apart. All you got to do is clean each cylinder then the barrel. I like to give it a little squirt of gun oil or WD40 down into the hammer just to keep everything lubed up. All that is left is a quick rub down for the outside and your done.

one of the quickest ways that i've used is a bore snake. look up 'bore snake' on any search engine. about $15. some rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush. clean everything you can. shouldn't take that long.
