House plant or tree/flowers for the yard-of course you would offer to help plant if needed. Parents have so many things already, you don't want to contribute to clutter and more "stuff".

candles; wine; fire-logs if they have a FP; gift booklet with coupons for YOU to help them unpack and put stuff away; phones; throw rugs; towels to match bathrooms/kitchen.

If they have a favorite picture of you (with or without siblings) you can take it to Kinko's or a similar photo place and have it blown up, matted, and framed. A good collage frame is good too.

A gift basket with some of their favorite coffee (if they drink it), snacks like cheese, crackers, or cracker spreads, or meat, fruit.....whatever they like to drink or eat.
