RT is a fairly good field. you can work in hospitals, clinics, elderly homes and ambulatory care facilities. you COULD have patient interaction depending on what you're doing. majority of the time you're dealing with people with tubes in their throats so chit chat might not always be possible. salaries are pretty good usually starting from the low to mid 40's depending on where you are.
