I hate dealing with insurance companies. It's like they sit around thinking up ways to screw with you.
I would talk to a different agent. Call the company and ask to talk to a supervisor. It's a good idea to have an estimate from the vet handy to refer to. See if they will look the estimate and give you a written agreement based on the information given, with the understanding that other things may come up unexpectedly. Have the person go over your original contract with you. This type of surgery should be mentioned at least, so you can find out where the company stands.
Good Luck.

Sorry Frank B. however I've best had terrible carrier with VPI so I are not able to in well judgment of right and wrong advise that to any one. In reality, I inform them to check out another manufacturer. I paid over $520 for the annually protection and best re cooped $forty two. They did not pay for any of the workplace visits like they are saying they do, they did not pay for my puppies preventative flea/tick remedy (and sure I took the Plus or gold plan that was once additional to pay for this), they simply stored telling me that not anything was once incorporated. I acquired worn out of combating with them and simply wrote it off as a foul funding. Be definite you learn the first-class print, and speak to anybody earlier than your acquire any coverage. Call round and get prices. Be all set to have your vet ship them documents for a couple of years of all of the care given your puppy. Most coverage organizations do not pay for any current stipulations or stipulations dealt with for ago.

Usually it is NOT covered. They seem to consider it a hereditary problem and do not cover any treatment.
But , it never hurts to ask!!!
