ROFLMAO

God HATES prayers by rote. He listens to prayers from the heart. Otherwise you'll get the treatment from Lamentations 3:44 and he simply will not listen. Good luck with that.

Oh, and the "Our Father," prayer, THAT WAS MEANT AS A LESSON ON "HOW TO PRAY" not to pray IT!!! It EVEN SAYS IT!

Dear God! Simple MINDS!

This is my favorite prayer for my brothers and sisters in the faith.

Colossians 1:9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

The prayer of St. Francis of Assisi!
Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace:
That where there is hatred I may bring love,
where there is injury I may bring pardon,
where there is doubt I may bring faith,
where there is despair I may bring hope,
where there is darkness I may bring light,
where there is sadness I may bring joy.
Oh, divine master, grant that I may not so much seek,
to be consoled as to console
to be understood as to understand,
to beloved as to love,
For it is in giving we receive, it is in pardoning we are pardoned, and in dieing we ar eborn to eternal life!
This is a variation of the prayer, but it is how I try tolive my life!

the prayer that comes from my heart. the one that happend when i am feeled with tears, and i have humbled myself to God. The one that last as long as I want. The one that keep me up until the wee hours. That is my kind of prayer. And I thanks God for not settinga time limit, for alwayse being there , and not charging me.

I've also been chanting a Rama mantra, so that he will influence the political leaders of the world and spread peace. The mantra is supposed to spread peace; I get a wonderful feeling when I chant it.
