ask her what kind of movies she likes, and then choose one...don't make her choose the specific movie, just make sure you're not taking her to a type of movie she doesn't like.

not macho, but not a chick-flick cuz she might wonder your motives for wanting to see it. scary if she likes scary movies. action are always good. find one with a good stopy line and everything. but usually make it ultimately her decision.
