Yes, you're engaging in an intimate matter with someone besides your spouse/boyfriend/girlfiend/ect.

If you met someone and masturbated in front of them, and they did they same. It would be wrong, correct? Same princible applies.

Okay--- the facts. This applies equally to any non-physical outside stimulation or simulation of sex (gonna get scientific here for a moment, sorry):
The areas of the brain that reacts to sexual stimulation or sensation whether it's movies, talking, magazines, actual physical sex alone or not, are exactly the same. So in a sense, yes it is cheating.
But the real question you're asking is about GUILT. If you're not going to take it any further than a computer, why should you feel guilty if it doesn't impact your relationship? If it does affect your relationship, like taking time away from it, or you're thinking of something else while with your partner, than you should realize you're cheating. Some people also can be jealous--- how would you feel if your partner were cyber-sexing, too? Could you handle it?

no is not! cyber sex with a person u looking at the scream
and typing letters. is not cheating, unless u really have some major emotional problems!.like the one on top who said yes..
is almost the same as u girl liking bratt pitt n f**king him,but she can't had him. is all in the scream .
so u wouldnt be jealous of that would u!?
in general most people got problems n need to find anything
to fight with you. even just to spice things up.

It is. Being in a relationship includes emotional commitment, and having cyber sex is betraying the trust the other person placed in you.

Well it depends on the couple , but it can be considered a emotional affair to some , but to me as long as it just on the computer with no web cams then no its not cheating

It depends on your relationship. I would defiantly consider it cheating, and a relationship-ending offense, but it really depends on the person you're with and how open your relationship is.
