Some strict born again believers believe that one has to move out of his religion to be truly born again. Others believe that peole in different religions can be born again even if they worship idols like the Catholics believe that Jesus is in the communion they receive. What about the Roman Catholic Charismatics they receive healing but they worship Jesus as being in the host and do not discourage people to give importance to Mary but to see her only as an instrument used by God

Baptism is not valid outside of the holy Church. Those who are baptised are born again. That's it and that's all. The real question to start asking is this: where is the one true apostolic church that I might be baptized into it and added to the Body of Christ?

I suggest checking into Eastern Orthodoxy.

Idol worship is a sure way to hell. The catholic way of communion is a spit in the eye of God.It is so misleading and the people don`t realize that catholic communion with the round wafer and the chalice with the sickle moon engraving is a direct reference to Osiris and Isis having sex and the rebirth of the sun. This is a Baal ritual that was imported into the church by the pope. Also I once posted a question and some well meaning catholic told me about Mary and the power of intersession she has with God.Where in the Bible does it say that Mary ever got that ability from God.Nowhere.It was something once again imported by the beast to mislead the masses. How I wish I could be in the front row when the pope gets his due for misleading so many people. This includes Muslims as the catholics started the faith through Mohamed Mustafa and his catholic wife Hadija. Catholics will thus be responsible for the lost Muslim souls as well.

You become born again when you are baptized which is the whole point of baptism: becoming born again in Christ. So, yes they ARE born again.

As for your misconceptions about the Roman Catholics that you then proceed to insult them, we DO NOT worship Mary. We honor her for being Jesus' mother. We don't worship idols. We don't pray to statues and when we pray to saints we ask for their intercession with God. We ask the saints to pray for us as we pray for us. We don't believe Christ is IN the host; we believe he IS the host or bread that we receive after it has been consecrated. You believe God can do all things but you don't believe that God is capable of being that bread? God is only what YOU decide he is capable of? Interesting!

If you really want to get down to it, YOU are the heathen who broke away from the one true Church, not us. Roman Catholicism has lasted for two thousand years, despite many hardships. You're religion is what? twenty years old at best? You are part of a false church, but your arrogance is blinding you. You and people like you have a real big surprise coming. Let's hope that the Lord is more open minded and forgiving than you are. We Catholics will pray for you to see the light.

Anyone who is baptized with water, in the name of the father and the son and the holy spirit is born again.

You're making this way too complicated.

And, by the way, you have no idea what you're talking about, when you speak of Catholic beliefs and practices.

It was Jesus who said the bread is his body and the wine is his blood. It's plainly written in the Bible. Look it up.

The apostles knew what he said was true, and absolutely literal, and they did exactly what he told them to do, every Sunday, for the benefit of the whole church.

That's also in scripture. Look it up.

Only in the 15th century did some people first decide to reject the constant belief, teaching, scripture, and tradition of the church, pertaining to the Holy Eucharist.

Regarding the mother of Jesus: she was no more special than your mother ... and how special is your mother to you? How special do you think the Blessed Virgin is to her son, Jesus?

Are you really suggesting that Jesus Christ would stoop so low as to USE his mother simply as a mere "throw away" human VESSEL?

That would seem a clear violation of the 4th commandment. as well as a violation of Christ's NEW COMMANDMENT of LOVE, and Jesus Christ never committed any sins.

The only VESSEL I know of that is even remotely like Mary is the Ark of the Covenant, and that WAS pretty special!

The Ark held the Law, the Rod, and Manna. Mary carried our Savior, the son of the living God, in her womb, and she remained his close associate and constant disciple, ever after.

The Ark was overshadowed by the Spirit of God. So was Mary!

People would die if they even touched the Ark. I wonder what would happen to a man who might attempt to "touch" the Blessed Virgin Mary in a sexual way?

Just a mere human vessel?

I hope you will give this some serious consideration. Stop repeating what you've heard from others, and start using the brain God gave to you.

Anyone can be a born again believer. If you live up to all that you know is right, you can be saved. If you do not live up to all you know to be right, that means you are living in sin and as such will not go to Heaven. I know many good Christian Catholics that I believe will get into Heaven but some that are of other faiths that know more but do not live it that will not be in Heaven. It is really all in what you know and how you live with that knowledge that really counts. God knows every heart and will be the ultimate Judge. IF you get knowledge that is different than what you believe and you know it is right but do not go with it just because the church does not agree with it, then you are in trouble. But if you go with what you know is right, no matter what anyone says about it, that is when you are truly born again. Need to take the bible over anything any man or any church says.

I am a Catholic and I was raised Baptist and personally why would I wish to return to what I found empty and devoid of meaning for me? If someone gives you a gift you do not need to ask for it, you only need to accept it and keep it. To each their own but most Catholics and probably the others are content with what they believe. If not they are free to choose another Church.

"What separates us as believers in Christ is decrease than what unites us." (Pope John XXIII) virtually all important doctrine is carefully agreed upon between Catholic Christians and different Christians. the following is the joint statement of justification by technique of Catholics (1999), Lutherans (1999), and Methodists (2006): by technique of grace on my own, in faith in Christ's saving artwork and not in any respect because of any advantage on our section, we are conventional by technique of God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts at the same time as equipping us and calling us to sturdy works. there are various of minor doctrine subject matters and some important cultural classic adjustments which, i believe, do not keep in mind that a lot. A Catholic worships and follows Christ contained in the custom of Catholicism which, between different issues, recognizes that Christ made Peter the chief of His new Church and Pope Benedict XVI is Peter's direct successor. Catholics are spiritually born back, we regularly do exactly not use those words. With love in Christ.

Being "born again" means that you are baptized.

Romans, Orthadox, and Anglicans all baptize.

So the answer to your question is YES.
