Was the bible written as a smear campaign by Satan to tarnish the image of God?

The back of the book says that Lucifer, the bright morningstar is going to win.
Isaiah 14:12
How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!
evelation 22:16,
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you [1] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
2 Peter 1:19,
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
Revelation 2:28--
I will also give him the morning star.

God is better than the bible often portrays him/her/it. The bible is a mixture of functional and dysfunctional proclamations.
Do I believe the bible is the product of an outright smear campaign by some malevolent force? No, it is just people being people giving their ideas about the divine, motivating their tribe via stories (a form of social control), etc.
Some of the stories and proclamations are useful for today's society, others are outright destructive. If you are an independent thinker and pick through what is good leaving the rest you are likely to find some real gems.
