Just don't try to be something that you're not. No one likes a phony.

Not bad at all. The older kids just like to scare the incoming freshmen because, well, it works. :-P But 99% of the "horror stories" you hear about freshman year are total BS. No one gets pushed into lockers, no one gets beat up just for being a freshman, nothing like that happens. I'm sure it HAS happened before in totally rare cases, but really, it doesn't. Actually, you'll probably befriend a lot of upperclassmen; I did, and it was an awesome experience.
But the juniors and seniors have better things to do than mess with you just for the hell of it. If you provoke them, that's one thing, but they've got more on their minds: College searching, making the most of their final year of high school, etc. As long as you don't go out of your way to deliberately irritate them, you'll be fine.

It's bad that you're nervous, but it's not bad that you will be a freshman.
Just continue being yourself and don't try too hard to fit in, because people may or may not accept you for who you are; that's their choice.
It's your choice to accept yourself for who you are, which many kids your age don't do because they want so bad to fit in, which in turn makes the freshman year bad.
Get interested in different subjects or activities that will unite you with some of your peers that you would have been a stranger to otherwise.

nope. not really. it's the same thing except that in high school there are more people and grades are done in credits. each class you pass every semester is 5 credits. you get 6 classes every year. There are 2 semester in a year. so it totals to 60 credits in a year but they let you slide with 5 credits only. To get a credit in a class you need to pass it with at least a d, not a Fail.

freshmen year is the easiest year in high school. usually during this year people try to do the most extra-curriculars and etc. junior year is the hardest and you will find yourself staying up late working if you choos challenging classes(and you probably will). senior year is pretty chill except for college apps. but you're a freshman so you dont have to worry, yet.

Be VERY careful, enter high school with caution-it's not wut you think it is, but try to talk a lot in class like answer the teachers questions, or at least try, make a joke here and there, start a conversation about your personal life that relates to wut ur teacher's lesson is somehow-sounds weird but works llike a charm! So don't try to be the shy one in the back of the class basically. Uhhh, DON'T be tempted to smoke!! Lots of people smoke in high school. You know, if you have friends, that's all you basically need to get through anything, stay TOGETHER!! You'll do GREAT!

9th grade is easy. The rest of high-school is really hard though, except for senior year. You spend senior year partying.
