At first you will loose a lot of weight, but eventually, your body will adjust and your metabolism will be really slow because your body will think that you are starving. If you start eatting 2 meals a day at any point after that, you will gain all the weight back and some extra. My advice is to eat 5-6 tiny meals/day (ie- a tiny meal would consist of an apple or a few carrot sticks or a string cheese or a handful of almonds). That boosts your metabolism, you'll never be hungry, and in the end, you will be eatting less than you do now so you will loose weight.

Depends how many calories you eat and how much activity you have daily. (How many calories you burn) Dieting often makes your hunger really kick in - these receptors / messages come from your stomach, parts of your brain and from your endocrine system (glands) and they are POWERFUL. If your body thinks it is starving it will be more likely to store calories when you do eat. This is why people get re-bound weight gain after diets. They also tend to eat more when they finally do eat because the hunger starvation sensation eventually wins. This kind of diet makes your blood sugar fly up and down as surges of insulin follow surges of food. Far better to eat small meals six times a day (food amount should almost fit in one hand) to keep the hunger demon at bay and also gradually increase your activity. Your activity level is the very most critical factor. AT LEAST 20 minutes a day of activity that increases your heart rate above 100 is a simple guideline.

Cut down fats, & sugars which are generally the most calorie laden foods with the least nutritional value. Fried / deep fried foods are among the worst. Max out on fruits and veggies - no limit. Warning: Salad dressings might have as many calories as candy bars.

Starvation diets also can lead to dangerous habits like binging and purging. OOPS - sorry I won't tell you how unhealthy it is...again.

You probably would gain wait because the body would try to store the food as fat and rather than look fit you would look soft and pudgy.

bettery to eat small meals/ snacks through out the day. About every two hours. This will result in the body being trained that it will have food in x amount of time and so store food fat for later is not needed. plus add lots of water, alot of times when you get hunger pains, it is your body telling you it needs water, so it want you to eat so it can get fluids out of the food. Avoid caffiene and increase water. Try to get a 32oz water bottle and keep it full. Take a drink every 5-15 minutes and refill , shoot for 64oz per day this will help to your body to metabolize the fat in your body resulting in a more toned and fit look.

Of course exercise would be a good addition, jump rope, jog, anything cardio.

You will lose a lot of weight. The problem - once you start eating regularly again, you will gain it all back, and then some. Eating fruits and vegetables won't help either. You need to eat meat, too. Exorcise regularly, eat 3 meals a day, apple snacks, etc. It will also give you the energy to to exorcise - also feel better about yourself.

If you do that, your body will respond by lowering your metabolism and slowing your weight loss. To prevent this downward adjustment of your metabolism, make smaller changes to your eating habits. Your patience will pay off in terms of more consistent weight loss, more energy, and fewer cravings.
