I can, you can too. It isn't that hard. Just get a few recipe books to look at and start experimenting. Actually, my mom says I am a better cook than her. My Grandma was a great cook, I will be as good someday.

I can cook like Mom or Grandma, so I'm good to go. I'm the one who cooks all the big holiday meals. I recently moved to Wyoming so I had to kick it up a notch because there are no good restaurants near where I live.

lol, you can. Just be more patient and be sure to read the instructions. What makes a big difference is making sure your oven is preheated. That will make the difference between things turning out ok and turning out perfect.

Follow the recipes and things will turn out great. And if not, you can always run to the store and pass things off as your own.

its easy to cook like grand ma or mom,,,infact its lot easier to cook like Mom ( if yu are a girl wait until you have a child ) then you can cook like a mom..then wait until your child grows up and get married and have a child..then you can cook like grandma...lol.

yes mom and grandma cooks for us with lots of love ,,and love is the best ingredient for a recipe..add a bit of dedication and love in when you cook and i promise you will make wonderful dishes,,

its what exactly mothers do...

I do wish that and I've been practicing. I'm learning how to make all my meals from scratch and stock the freezer with homemade meals. It's been quite a learning experience but it's nice knowing what is actually in the food we eat.

Yes. When I moved out of state, I asked my Mom for her Beef Stew recipe. She made it every Saturday in the fall, and I missed it.

She said "Just put some mixed frozen vegetables in your pot with stew beef."

It looked and tasted horrible.

She said "Did you add your Golden Mushroom Soup?"

Did you tell me to??????? lol

Over the next few years, I have tried to recreate this recipe, with no success.

When I went home last year for Christmas, Mom and Dad asked me what I wanted them to cook for me. I said beef stew, among other things.

Mom said "I never made beef stew. I only use oxtails."

Someone asked me to make collard greens for a potluck at work. I had never made them before. I called Mom when I was at the market and GRILLED her! I bought the ingredients. I called her when I got home, and had her on the phone with me for every step. They turned out just like hers.

I haven't made them the same since.

My Mom can't cook worth a damn, her Mom died when she was young and my Dad's Mom was never around our family. So the answer is NO.
