yes there is tein in green tea, because green tea is made from the same "tea plant" as black tea, the only difference is that it's not fermented. (herbal teas do not have tein, only tea from the tea plant has it.)

i have no idea if, when you're allergic to coffein, you can have tein, but i know that it is from the same family of chemical substances, as well as theobromine, which is in cocoa - so if you can drink chocolate milk or hot chocolate, you probably can also drink green and black tea...

There's tein in all the teas. That's why it's called tein. Makes sense?

There is some caffeine in green tea, not as much as with black tea or coffee, but some. If you have allergies, stick to herbal teas with no caffeine or something like Postum.
