I felt that way about my ex still do. If I found someone who loved me was devoted and treated me like gold I'd marry them no matter what anyone else thought or said about that person. I'd treat them as good as I could. Life is too short to pass up the chance to be with someone who loves you needs you and wants you. Someone who does everything they can to be with you. Who feels empty and alone without you. Whatever you decide if you really dont care for this person give them an honest response. Never tell them you love them if you dont. Dont start a relationship only to abandon them. It'll destroy them. In my opinion you are a very lucky person if you have found someone who feels that way about you. If your the person who feels that way about someone else becareful you dont want to end up being used and thrown away.

Be worried that he was idolizing me. To my mind, merely getting my ego stroked and being served is not anything like a good reason to pursue anything beyond friendship. I will get married if I find that I am serving God together with a particular person, and getting married would help us do that better.

And if that wasn't happening with the person in question, no matter how nice, if he couldn't take no for an answer, I might even find it necessary to cut off contact. Not being able to take no for an answer is a clear sign of lust instead of love, no matter how nice the behavior and attention.

I think everyone thinks that would be amazing on paper, but no one really wants a "devoted slave." You have to have some other interests beside your significant other. I think this person would come across to many as clingy.

What are you waiting for - go make that person the happiest person alive and then don't forget a relationship is a give and get, not a give and take. You give and then you get the more you give the better it will be.

Look brfore u leap ! I am speaking from experience, and my marriage turned out to be a financial disaster, he lied to me about his finances, I ended up selling every thing i owned trying to pay him out of debt, I recommend you date at least 6mos. and see how things look to you the.
