Her grandmother was schizophrenic, her mother is schizophrenic... and she's always been a little impulsive... but she had a few trauamatic things happen this month... and now she's acting even more impulsively with no regard to what's happening to those who love and care about her or what's happening in the real world.

Unfortunately schizophrenia is genetic,so she very well might be also.Is she seeing a psychiatrist?She should be put on medication as it helps the person deal with his/her condition better.

She could be, but schizophrenia usually doesn't manifest due to trauma. If she is in hear early 20s, it is more likely that she is schizophrenic. However, it may be that she is just having a difficult time dealing with the stress of what has happened. I suggest you just Listen to her. Offer to talk to her, and offer to listen.

Take her to a psychiatrist
