First off, let me begin my saying that for a worldly person the things of the world are more appealing, that would include worldly music ( music to incite the passions). For those who are spiritually inclined the things of God are far more appealing, including music which would lead one to dispassion. It's all in the attitude and perspective, not the musical notes.

That said, I'll bet you can't make one mention of a "popular" tune inspired by Satan dating back a thousand years, while yet there are church chants that have continued unchanged since then to this day. So, quoting your logic even if it were true that, "Satan has the best tunes", God's tunes last forever. :P

Then you haven't heard all of God's music. Maybe you think Gospel or Hyms are only God's music. God made all music...gospel, rap, alternative, etc.... But because the Devil is a liar, he knows God, and if he can turn something awesome (music) into something that glorifies him, then you are being pulled by Satan. Look into Christian music of today and you can see that they rock too. Avalon is an awesome group. Go onto Limewire and download "Testify to Love" or look up Jars of Clay... If you would like to know more, let me know and I'll help you. Be blessed.

Maybe you're just too hard core to know that modern Christian music no longer "sucks" as you put it. Whatever genre of music you enjoy, the contemporary Christian scene has co-opted the style and impressed their positive and encouraging message upon it. When you get to a place in your life where you'd like a little positive and encouraging, I hope you'll take another look at the new Christian music scene.

Not true. There are some truly rockin' Christian bands and some awesome music out there that glorifies GOD. Remember,,, you are what you eat... that applies to the music you listen to, the tv and movies you watch, the books that you read.. the conversations you have.... I'm not out to knock people out with a Bible thump to the head, but you could really use a wake up call.

I wasn't aware that either Satan or God were in the music biz...
Some people choose to worship God with their music, and that's cool, but that doesn't make it "God's music".
Some people would rather listen to music with profane lyrics or music that glorifies violence. That doesn't mean that Satan wrote it.
I think you can tell alot about a person by the kind of music they listen to.

Most people like t o hear Satan music because they like to hear bad things to help them be a bad person. God's music doesn't suck as much as you think it does. It doesn't bring up anything bad to people who listen to it.

I'm all for "Satan" music. Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, Hatebreed, whatever. Do you like Meshuggah? Hard metal - Has been classified as Christian music because of the lyrics involving God. Although I am not religious nor believe in God, Meshuggah is one of my favorite bands.q

The music is all what you make of it. There are quite a few songs that have the same rhythm and melody with just different words. In that case it is all in your head. Those words are what you are obviously using in everyday life, or they wouldn't sound that much better to you.

Maybe you should clean up your mouth and those songs will have a different sound to them.

Satan is the one who decieves the ones who will listen into believing anything. He draws them in with what looks pretty and good on the surface. Sounds like you've been drawn. Beware.
