Trust me. Start slow. I used to walk 4 miles in an hour and it is wonderful exercise and it really gets you in shape. But the other night I decided to start walking again after 5 years of having babies and not exercizing. I started out with 2 miles in 30 minutes. My feet were killing me. I couldn't even put any pressure on my heels or the balls of my feet. They were so sore...I wanted to cry. Start out at a mile at an easy pace and then when it's like nothing you can add distance and pace at the same time. It won't take long maybe a couple of weeks. You get in shape fast and your endurance builds up really fast. Just listen to your body and know when to turn around and go home. Take water and music with you.

It would take a couple of hours to walk that far as for starting you should start at like a mile then work your way up to five..

It depends on how fast you are walking. If you walk at a steady pace, it might take you 12 to 15 mins. per each mile. I would not overdo it. You need to work up to it. First do a mile for awhile and then two and so on.
