I fully understand you. I live in the southern US and the heat can get unbearable at times. I have lived in several other areas in my lifetime and the only place I know of that seems to have more temperate climate is the northwest region here in the states...i.e. Washington State near Bellingham..just north of Seattle. I believe the average temperature up there on the coast is approximately in the mid 60s. However, you must like rain because it tends to rain a lot there..hence the Olympic Rain Forest on the peninsula. I found it very pleasant but was used to my hot temps down here in the south.

It's a hundred degrees today in Van Nuys. And out in Balboa Park hundreds of people, young and old, boys and girls, are playing soccer, softball, skating, bike riding, jogging or having picnics.

The point is how much you let heat affect you is as much a state of mind as it is physical. The more you worry about it, the more you stress out about it the more you mentally think it is evil.

Alter your perceptions about the environment in general and you'll come to realize you've only been championing your own limitations. As to the warmer days, try embracing them (go slowly at first) instead of running from them.

If you haven't adjusted your mental state of mind you're going to be unhappy with the environment wherever you move.

Don't worry about a cooler climate. If you want to cool off, go to a drier climate. You can live in Antartica, but if it's humid, you'll be miserable. Go dry - it works.
