recently i have taken her to the vet because i havent in quite awhile just to make sure she was in top health...The Vet did tests and everything turned out ok. except she turned out to be heartworm positve. I would have never known because she's as active as when she was a puppy and shows no signs of slowing down. So now she's on HeartGaurd. But i noticed a lump on her left side that seems to be going away one day, and there the next. It's a little bigger than a marble...The vet didnt seem to notice it when i took her in because on some papers she gave me i read that it says my dog showed no signs of tumors. But should i still be concerned?

DEFINETLY. That could mean ANYTHING. since your dog is a little bit older she may be getting cancer or tumors. it's definetly best to get that checked out ASAP. The sooner you do it the better.

Your vet should have noticed if this is the first check up in such a long time. Call the vet and ask about the lump and tell him that it is moving around. Tell him every detail and have blood and urine test done. It may be nothing, but it may be something. We are not the ones to ask. Ask your vet about important things and us about why your baby wippet won't pee in the rain.

Yes! Get a second opinion. Vets aren't always right or careful. It's amazing how we expect vets to know everything about dogs, cats, horses, etc, and see a zillion clients a day, etc... it's tough being a vet, but even tougher as a concerned pet owner. get some references, and go see a different vet and voice ALL your concerns.
Good Luck :)

if your dog tested positive of heart worms, she don't need to be on heart guard. heart guard is a preventative. the heard guard can make her sick or even kill her since she has heart worms. a vet can treat her to git rid of the heart worms safely, but is a little expensive. the lump is probably nothing to worry about, but if it concerns you, get it checked out for your peace of mind -- better safe than sorry. if it is that small, the vet could have overlooked it accidentally. also, after your dog has been treated for heart worms and tests negative, keep her on heart guard faithully to keep them from returning.

i wouldnt be 2 concerend. it is probably just a fat patch: a little spot where fat cells clump together. dogs get them all the time relax. if it gets to big (bigger than a golf ball) hav it surgically removed.

You should call you vet's office and see what they say. My guess is they'll want to see your dog again. PLEASE, PLEASE be sure and give your dog her heartworm medicine faithfully. Heartworm will kill your dog if not prevented.
