Yes they do -- they take the shortest shifts possible.

Sadly the moon worshipers do not rest on the Shabbot.

that is excellant question and will research, in the meantime..israel has a universal draft and most israeli's dont serve in the army. i would think therefore they dont all keep the sabbath. i see that orthodox women are exempt from serving.. while the men join up. i am curious now..so will edit this answer later.

I don't know that's A good one....I would think so,but They would still have to defend the country...if not they could lose the whole country in one day that's how small it is.....I think God knows that they are at war and would not object to them Defending the country on the Sabbath.....

Israels Army are not Jewish. Mostly Orthodox Christian.

yeah, they only kill six days of the week, unless attacked....then they defend themselves
