Satan was once God's favorite angel........ He could be saved if only he would ask God to forgive him....but he isn't likely to do that. It goes against everything he stands for.

Revelation Ch20v10 Satan cannot be redeemed, he fell at the beginning, and knows this. Christ's death on the cross secured the redemption of all of the Lord's people, and sealed teh doom of Christ...

Read Genesis Ch3v15 regarding the bruising or crushing of the serpents head, as the Hebrew verb states...

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Sadly, no. But not because God will destroy him. Many people think that's the way it will be, that God is a vengeful God who kills and destroys. But that is the devils way not the true Gods. The devil (Slanderer), Satan (Adversary) will actually destroy himself, he is too evil to change. So it is not really a question of can he be saved, more like he will be his own destruction in the end and there is nothing anyone can do to stop him doing so.

Those who have never known God, yet spew all sorts of hatful blasphemies about him are stilll salvageable. But Satan - AKA Lucifer - once resided in God's holy presence. He KNEW what he was throwing away, yet he did it anyway. There is no hope for anyone who does this. I think anything is forgiveable...except taking such an exquisite gift and, knowing full well the price that was paid for it, throwing it back in the face of the giver.

No, Satan and his demons cannot be saved. The reason for this is simple. They did not have a tempter when he rebelled against God. They took it upon themselves to try and usurp God's authority over creation. Mankind, however, is constantly tempted by the devil and his minions. Sometimes we give in.

If satan were truly to exist, i would feel bad for the man. All he wanted was love, and god chose man instead of angels. I feel bad for the guy. I don't think he would want to be saved anyway. I'd probably want to party with him at least.
