How did we lose the beauty of our Creation we live in? We persecute the atheists and the pagans and the wiccans for loving the earth...when all the while the Bible is packed with verses that say the moon and sun sing, the birds bring the prophets food, the earth helps us and keeps us safe from the devil ( Revelations 12 ) and that all the stars are there for us to navigate this beautiful green crucible we live in. Why did we lose the magic ? Well, I didnt. The face of Jesus is shining on me thru them all and I am dancing with Him thru it now.....in worship of Him I am adoring the moon, smiling at the sun and watching the humming birds feed on our back yard.....

May the blessings of both your God and my Gods shine upon you. Though our paths are different, there is no reason they can't cross peacefully.

I spent seven years Atheist.
Jesus led me to Wicca. (I can only imagine the vitriol I am causing by stating this FACT)
Have been studying for 4 years, and I took the year and a day class that I found at a metaphysical shop.
So to answer the question at hand, we shouldn't persecute.
But they do anyway. And they do it out of fear and ignorance.
Turn your head from those who would condemn you; They know not what they do, and are probably not as happy with their connection with the Lord and Lady as we are. When they use their Book to persecute us, it is out of the hatred for the Canaanites, the "heathens."
So try not to send their ill-will back, and do not absorb it. Deflect it and know that Michael stands behind you, Goddess looks down upon you, and works through you. Karma will bring these persecutors their own persecution- Hatred begets more hatred, and all reap what they sow.
Brightest blessings, Sister of the Craft.

A true Christian does not judge, belittle or put down anybody. However, sometimes in rebuttal to atheist persecution of Christians, facts are stated. These are not judgments, merely facts, which would not even be stated if not for the hostility toward the Christians by the atheists. It would be better if we as Christians would not respond at all. That is both the teaching and example given to us by our Savior. Even so, it is difficult to not fall for the bait. I must admit I have fallen for it myself even though I try very hard not to.

Why should you perscute Pagans. you stole a lot of their religious occurances to put your own twist on them.

Thou shall not steal...hardly. Look it up.

Christians like to persecute those who do not believe as they do and thats the bottom line. It has been happening for hudreds of years with no sigh of letting up in the future. Most christians are so self-centered and greedy to think that THEIR religion is the only RIGHT one. People choose to believe different things for different reasons.

One day you all are going to get a reality check. It's gonna be called life. And your going to wake up in it and see that all this religion crap is full of nothing but hate.

It's true, you really can't be a christian without being somewhat of an environmentalist. God created a perfect world and we are ruining it. The only thing is we need to make sure we are worshiping the creator not the created. But in truth we are not allowed to judge, only God is so we shouldn't persecute anyone.

How can anyone claim to love the great Creator Artist, and not love His masterpieces? Each day I am humbled by the beauty that surrounds me: natural surroundings, animals, people...such works of art. I look closely, and drink it all in. Just because our minds are in different places doesn't negate the beauty of the created being.

We shouldn't. Everyone has the chance to be saved. But, Athiests, pagans, and wiccans aren't the only people being persecuted. Christians are still being persecuted.

Because they feel the need to have an us against you mentality, so they have to accuse someone of working for the antichrist. And anyway doesn't the bible say the world will be in the hands of the righteous? I think this speaks of magic :)

Thank you so much for this. I have been wondering the same thing. I'm not Christian, and when I say that some people automatically make assumptions about me, judge me, or tell me I'm going to Hell. It's nice to know there are some open-minded people left in the world.
