i brought a question up last week about the points scale and why your only allowed to ask a certain number of questions. some administrator was saying it's so inexperienced people cant continue answering questions. as if we have no idea what we are talking about. so give me your opinion on a 32 yr. old male that isnt on the computer enough, due to work and cant get to a higher level fast enough to be more knowledgeable than a 9 yr. old, and how much since that makes.

It makes no sense. I don't think they're counting n 9 year olds to be answering questions here on YA though because typically they should be outside playing and having fun being kids. Besides, you think they'd understand all the hidden meanings in some of these questions? :)

Okay, Jay. You are not less experienced that the 9 year old asking the stupid question. I think it is so that someone won't get a gazillion points by sitting at their computer 24-7. I don't know how many times I have been on a roll, answering questions, when I am told I have answered my quota. The only difference, besides your age, is that the 9 year old is on summer vacation and has the time to sit at his computer.

Don't take it so personal, how can a 9 yr old have more experience than you?. do not ask so many questions. Instead answer them to the best of your knowledge. This site is not about points or levels.

So show us your experience and answer some questions.

First and foremost, you should go back to school. You have several grammatical and word usage errors. I would imagine, at 32, you would want/try to "act your age". Secondly, you have a point; but what do you suppose Yahoo Administrators do to keep some level of control with regard to this system. Lastly, you shouldn't be judging your experience or knowledge levels on Yahoo! Answers.

Oh yeah, it's sense, not since and you're, not your.

Hey man, you're not alone. I just made it too to level 2. If you have given many best answers you'll be given higher points. The questioner is the one who rates the best answer so whether the answer makes sense or not, the asker decides. It sucks but that's how it really works here. Just keep on answering. You will also have your chance.Trust me.

Persevere. It took me awhile to climb up the 'level' ladder. I'll admit that the levels do not have any relevance to knowledge or skill, only to accessibility and time spent on the computer. You'll get there. In the meantime, keep answering. I like your style.

The rudeness is astounding. Epically on the parenting board, I recommend it is the PARENTING board can they act a touch better mature. besides if someone hasn't instructed you, welcome to Yahoo solutions. I educate regret to the very reality of those stressful human beings, yet merely ignore it and save going.

answer me this... why are you competing with a 9 yr old, lol. jk.. seriously though, I agree with you on that one. I'm barely on level 2, and if I'm getting my @$$ kicked by a 9 yr old, I'm seriously gonna have to rethink my strategy. lol. Maybe I should start answering the Pokemon questions??

Well think of it this way, if you aren't on the computer as much, theres really no need to raise in the ranks. You obviously won't have as much time to answer questions.
