well parent take care of the girls more coz they are more sensible and they can makes mistakes that will cost them to change their entires life as well like getting pregnant !!

My best friend's parents had said to him when he leaved his rural area and moved to the urban city: You know what you need to do and what a good boy / man shouldn't do.
He cares of and protects his loved one. He is the best man I have ever known.
Daughters or Sons = Children.
People.
Protect and teach them all.

I don;t think it is on purpose....I actually swore I would never do it, because my mom did and IT DROVE ME NUTS...BUT now i totally understand. Most kids that are abdupted are girls between 4-8. So statisically it makes sense....I also have 2 boys and one due any day and then my daughter...I think we KNOW as women how girls think and men even as boys confuse us.....I think it should be equal though. Like for example, I think some parents make the mistake of letting theirs sons do more earlier etc....and this is not right.....girls are more mature, but we also know how guys are and what they can do to our princesses....so we worry..it is natural....

I am the youngest and the only girl of 3 children in my family. I have gotten so frustrated sooo many times because my parents are so overprotective. I am a Christian so I do my best to obey them, but it is hard. I am glad that someone else recognizes that parents DO do this to their girls.

I think I am as protective of both my sons and my daughter however, there is always the thought once they are teens that girls can be raped by teenage boys/men and it is not as likely to happen to a 16 year old boy.

Well have you seen girls nowadays? It seems like it is more desiarable to shake thier booty on a video then to actually make something of themselves. Girls today (it seems) have a lot less respect for themselves then they should so it just seems natural that parents would try to protect them more.

because we parents know whats out their in the world and because you might be afraid of how your daughter might have curves or hips or any of these things we have today in this world. plus you want to keep an eye on her because now days people are getting raped by who ever. so i think you should keep an eye her but also give here some space.

Females are generally more vulnerable (unless she's Xena). If she's average to above average looking, there will be tons of guys all over her (creepy guys, crazy boyfriends, perverts, rapists, etc.). Parents know this, so they are more protective.
Parents aren't as protective of their sons because guys are usually too ugly to get stalked. And if they do get stalked, they don't mind it because it turns them on.

Because they can spread their legs and ruin their life in 15 minutes or less. We all realize that kids are a full time...long term job and our daughters will get stuck doing it for the rest of their lives.
