how old will she be when she stops growing all togeather

That sounds fine. Some sighthounds grown until they are over a year old, so be ready for that 15 inches to continue to increase over the next year. Do you know how tall the parents were? Are you feeding her top quality food like Evo, Candidae, Natural Balance or similar? Are you exercising her regularly?

But as with any breed, there is some variation in sizing. I've seen 16 inch whippets and 20 inch Italian Greyhounds, so anything could happen.


Edited to add: If you bought from a reputable breeder, call them to ask their thoughts on the size of your dog. They may tell you that she was always a little small or they may tell you that it's a tyipcal gorwing curve for their dogs. : )

No, she sounds right on track, the standard is 18-21 inches. Whippets shoot up in height quickly and then slow down quite a bit. She should be about full heighth at 11-12 months or so. Some lines do mature differently though, that is just my experience.

How large were her parents?
