Global warming? For every 'Expert' who claims it's true, there's another showing how it's B.S.! Who knows for real? I will tell you; I spent last winter in Michigan, and we had a week and a half where it was about minus 16... locks froze, in houses and vehicles! Call that global warming? Fact is, the chicken littles of the world will scream that the sky is falling, no matter what. We do need to be environmentally concious, like all the aborigenes (natives) where, in their native lands? ya right! I was just reading today about how the natives of PR, The Tainos, killed their favorite dish, a small mammal, right into extinction... the indians of US used to run buffalo right off cliffs, because it was less dangerous than hunting with a bow&arrow... the list goes on... Fact is; no one is (or was) perfect... but we can try a bit harder, cant we? I feel our society has reached a point where we have the technology to tread more lightly, and live with conscious thought about the home we share with all living things.... Our Mother; Earth!

Yes, a lot of people really do believe the whole Global Warming thing. According to the whole Global Warming thing, winters are still colder than summers, but are generally not as cold as they used to be.

Yes I believe in Global Warming. But Global Warming takes place over a long period of time, and the temperature raises a very slight amount annually. Just because the Earth is warming doesn't mean that its not going to be cool in the winter. It's not possible for it to be hot in Winter because we are on the opposite side from the sun. It can be milder than before because Earth's temperature is steadily rising. But just because the temperature is rising doesn't mean that its no longer going to be cold. Global warming won't eliminate winter time, just make it a bit milder over a long period of time.

Most climatologists agree that Global warming is real. Actually, Europe's winters could get worse. As the Arctic and Greenland glaciers melt, the fresh water will change the salinity of the Gulf Stream , altering it's path and cancel the warmer air that makes Europe tolerable. ( most of Europe is farther North than canada- check your Globe! and would be COLD except for the warm Gulf Stream air) In general, global warming will progress slowly at first then speed up as more glaciers melt exposing more land mass that absorbs more sun energy.
If nothing is done to stop excess CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions we will see most coastal lowlands ( southern Florida, etc.) and our major coastal cities flooded by the end of this century. The earth will survive, but it will be a different place

I don't believe in Global Warming, the Earth Axis wobble and change along with the magnetic feild which causes climate changes.

Last winter where we live got record LOWS, it was an avrage 10 degrees lower then usual. Global Warming is nothing but crapy garbage.

Yeah, I believe it and we're gonna be screwed by it because of people like the second guy who answered. I'm not sure if winters are going to get colder, but the only reason why we still have winter is because of the earth's axis towards the sun.

When we get winter, it's because the earth doesn't face the sun as much as it does in the summer. And to me, global still affects winter because the earth is baking in its own heat generated by us. In Toronto last January, we had temperatures that were above freezing. That's creepy...

There are many questions about global warming. My personal opinion is that it has less to do with green house gases and more to do with the sun going through a hot cycle. Mars is warmer this year than last. I don't think we have been selling any SUV's on that planet.

international warming has been referred to making use of over a dozen distinctive checks i will think of of (thermometers, satellites, climate balloons, sea point, tropopause height, seasonal arrival cases, animal migrations, melting ice, increasing tropical Hadley cellular, boreholes, ice cores, outgoing radiation and so on). So this is extraordinarily lots previous doubt that it has befell. different examine has concluded that human interest is the main in all probability reason. As for polar bears; there is a few communicate over that. In some places the place melting has handed off lots, polar bears look doing rather badly and populations are occurring. a million or 2 populations are increasing however. this may well be defined via how there continues to be ice, and melting/thinning ice provides them extra section to seek in. To be honest, the effect i've got have been given is that polar bears are doing ok on the 2d and it would be many years in the past they could see severe decline. people who focus on the coming near destruction of the species are probable exaggerating.
